First and foremost, I want to express my deep gratitude for the work you do to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing mental and emotional challenges. My name is Dr. Camille Ellimac-Raheem, known as Dr. Camille, and I am passionate about supporting mental health professionals like you in providing effective and compassionate care.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Communication from Armstrong Atlantic State University, a Master’s degree in Counseling from Seton Hall University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling & Psychological Studies from Regent University. I am a National Certified Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Therapist, and a Certified Crisis Specialist. Additionally, I am certified in Litigation & Evaluation of Family Court Abuse Cases (LEFCC) and as a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Professional.
My dissertation, titled “Pastoral Burnout and Depressive Symptoms: A Self-Care Curriculum Guide for Pastors to Recharge and Heal,” was inspired by alarming statistics surrounding burnout and depression among pastors, as well as tragic reports of pastor suicides. This research led me to develop a comprehensive curriculum specifically designed for licensed clinicians like yourself to facilitate workshops that support pastors in managing burnout, depression, and prioritizing self-care.
My mission is to empower professionals like you with the tools and knowledge needed to support pastors’ personal well-being, which in turn positively impacts their families, congregations, and communities.
Thank you for your interest in improving the lives of those who serve others. Together, we can help pastors recharge, heal, and continue their essential work with renewed strength and resilience.
