First and foremost, I want to express my deep gratitude for the work you do to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing mental and emotional challenges. My name is Camille Ellimac-Raheem, and I am passionate about supporting mental health professionals like you in providing effective and compassionate care.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Communication from Armstrong Atlantic State University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Seton Hall University. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling & Psychological Studies at Regent University. In addition to my academic background, I am a National Certified Counselor, a Licensed Clinician, and a Certified Crisis Specialist.
Recently, I had the honor of successfully defending my dissertation titled “Pastoral Burnout and Depressive Symptoms: A Self-Care Curriculum Guide for Pastors to Recharge and Heal.” This research, inspired by the alarming statistics surrounding burnout and depression in pastors, as well as tragic reports of pastor suicides, led me to develop a comprehensive curriculum. The guide is specifically designed for licensed clinicians like yourself to facilitate workshops that support pastors in managing burnout, depression, and prioritizing self-care.
My mission is to empower professionals like you with the tools and knowledge needed to assist pastors in their personal well-being, which in turn will positively impact their families, congregations, and communities.
Thank you for your interest in improving the lives of those who serve others. Together, we can help pastors recharge, heal, and continue their essential work with renewed strength and resilience.
